The HR Generalist will play a crucial role in aligning HR initiatives and functions with business objectives and company growth strategies. Talent Coaching:

  • Offer skilled guidance and support in navigating employee relations, resolving conflicts effectively, and facilitating performance management.
  • Assist managers in implementing effective strategies to engage and inspire their teams, cultivating a culture that fosters motivation and teamwork.

Talent Processes:

  • Support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, goal setting, performance evaluations, and offboarding.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, employment laws, and industry best practices.
  • Conduct exit interviews, analyze trends, and provide recommendations to improve retention of key talent.

Employee Engagement:

  • Support initiatives to enhance overall employee engagement, satisfaction, and well-being.
  • Support diversity and inclusion initiatives by promoting awareness, assisting with events, and fostering a culture of respect and belonging for all employees.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in employee engagement, incorporating new ideas and innovations into our programs.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance organizational effectiveness aimed at optimizing processes and achieving strategic objectives.
  • Work closely with National HR team to align HR strategies with overall business goals.
Qualifications & Competencies:
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR Business Partner or similar HR role.
  • Experience in the real estate industry is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of regional (Alberta & BC) labour laws and regulations.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in HR software’s such as Dayforce, SharePoint and Microsoft Office Suite.
