Our client, a large privately held and growing company in manufacturing, is looking for a hands-on and strategic Vice-President of Finance. If you are strong at building processes and operations, then read on. The company offers a great environment and excellent benefits.

Reporting to the President, you will have the following responsibilities:

  1. Assist Management in strategic decision-making and participate in executive committee
  2. Analyze business unit performance
  3. Supervise a team of 5 people
  4. Review and finalize the financial statements
  5. Be responsible for improving processes
  6. Oversee operations and deal with multiple department heads, including Sales
  7. Be responsible for inventory control, as well as operation costs
  8. Prepare budgets and analyze financial reports
  9. Build and maintain relationships with the banks
  10. Set KPIs

What you need to succeed in this role:

  1. CPA title
  2. Great leadership and management skills
  3. Strong operational background
  4. Experience in process improvement
  5. Experience in a manufacturing environment
  6. Autonomy and dynamic personality
  7. Good organizational skills and global vision of the business
  8. Excellent office management skills
  9. Experience in development and strategy
