The Engagement & Sustainability Coordinator is part of the Engagement & Sustainability team, working closely with many areas of Port Saint John as a key enabler of our community engagement program. QualificationsQualifications:
- Completion of college diploma or university degree focusing on communication, marketing or related field.
- Experience in presentation creation and delivery.
- Able to manage several conflicting priorities at a time
- Highly organized with a knowledge of the Microsoft Suite of Products
- Experience working with the Adobe InDesign software program
- Experience with community engagement would be an asset.
- Biliguaism is considered an asset

Your Focus:
- Support on team administrative duties such as business central and coordinating activities of the department
- Track departmental KPIs for quarterly reporting
- Maintain and track the department budget and KPIs for monthly and quarterly reporting budget
- Provide in-house marketing support of materials for business development and other departments projects, meetings, missions and activities
- Manage small scale in-house signage and production
- Provide support for website updates and edits
- Support with the coordination of the annual premiere event, Port Days, and related key projects and meetings leading into Port Days
- Coordinate community programming, events, and public tours
- Coordinate the Community Liaison Committee meetings and maintain related records keeping
- Executing requirements related to sponsorship
- Participate in the Sponsorship Committee and lead projects of support where required
- Liaise directly with groups who receive in-kind venue rentals to provide booking details link, AV, catering information and coordinate any in-site visit requests for prep details for event set up
- Manage the Complaint tracking and reporting process
- Oversee data collection for greenhouse gas inventory
- Provide support for sustainability and decarbonization initiatives
