Environment and Sustainable Development Coordinator

Jefo is currently seeking an Environment and Sustainable Development Coordinator.
Location: Saint-Hyacinthe campus
Salary : To be discussed
Hours : 40 hours / week

Status : Permanent full-time
Job summary
The sustainable development coordinator's mandate is to ensure the implementation of the sustainable development policy and to determine the life cycles (LCA) of Jefo products. In addition, the coordinator will participate in the development of Jefo's knowledge of sustainable development, practices and respect for the environment.
Main responsibilities
Sustainable development and environment policy:
- Participate in determining and implementing Jefo's sustainable development and environmental policy;
- Jointly implement sustainable development projects with all company departments;
- Determine the company's GHG and action plan to reduce them;
- Identify opportunities for improvement and promote concrete actions with environmental and social impacts, and measure results;
- Develop the knowledge (raise awareness and inform) of the company and its employees about sustainable development, practices and respect for the environment;
- Mobilize stakeholders and encourage them to adopt eco-responsible behaviors;
- Ensure compliance with environmental standards for all company activities.
Product ACL:
- Participate in the development and maintenance of working tools in collaboration with external stakeholders to analyze product ACLs;
- Determine and update product ACLs in collaboration with external stakeholders and internal departments;
- Write corporate sustainability reports;
- Ability to produce or assist in the production of sustainability-related communication tools (internal and external).
Corporate social responsibility:
- Participate in the analysis of the company's social impact and commitment;
- Evaluate the social impact of the supply chain and implement actions to improve it.
We hope you have:
- At least a bachelor's degree in agronomy or sustainable development;
- 3 to 5 years' relevant work experience in the animal feed industry or in sustainable development in a manufacturing environment;
- Excellent oral and written skills in French and English;
- Strong statistical and matrix programming skills.
