Human Resources (HR) Administrator/Office Administrator– Job Description

  • Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting initial interviews.
  • Maintain and update employee records, including onboarding, performance evaluations, and offboarding processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal regulations.
  • Handle employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and payroll.
  • Assist with organizing and coordinating training sessions, workshops, and team-building activities.
  • Support the HR team in various projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement programs and performance management systems.
  • Office Administration:
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external communication, including answering phones, responding to emails, and managing mail.
  • Coordinate office supplies and inventory, ensuring all necessary materials are available and properly stocked.
  • Organize and schedule meetings, appointments, and company events, including travel arrangements for staff when necessary.
  • Support the management team with administrative tasks, such as document preparation, data entry, and report generation.

Human Resources (HR) Administrator/Office Administrator– Mandatory Skills

  • Fluency in Mandarin Chinese is mandatory.
  • 2+ years of experience in HR administration, office administration, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of HR practices, including recruitment, employee relations, and compliance.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive employee information.
  • Ability to work 100% on-site in Mississauga, Ontario.
