Project Coordinator

Marathon Underground Constructors Corporation is currently seeking a Project Coordinator to join our team.

Responsibilities:

·       Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment, and information.

·       Liaise with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives.

·       Make certain that clients’ needs are met as the project evolves.

·       Help prepare project proposals, timeframes, schedule, and budget.

·       Monitor and track project progress and handle any issues that arise.

·       Act as the point of contact and communicate project status adequately to all participants.

·       Use project management tools to monitor working hours, budget, plans, and money spend.

·       Issue all appropriate legal paperwork.

·       Report and escalate to management as needed.

·       Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports.

Qualifications:

·       Graduate of a Civil Engineering/Technologist program is an asset.

·       G class driver licence or equivalent with a clean drivers abstract

·       Knowledge of the construction industry and construction specifications, methods, and procedures.

·       Ability to understand the project schedules critical path.

·       Previous experience in cooperating with Project Managers for the delivery of projects.

·       Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.

·       Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.

·       Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and of project management tools.

·       Bilingualism in both French and English is considered an asset.

Own transportation is required, head office is located in Greely - public transportation is not available.
