Our Client, an award-winning, global tech-forward digital performance agency with over 16 years of experience, seeks an ambitious, proactive Head of Business Development who is tech-savvy, has a dynamic go-getter attitude and exceptional communication skills to help grow their digital agency.

As the Head of Business Development, you will understand the market, hunt for opportunities and understand the business that can be solved digitally. You will help the team achieve new business revenue targets. To be successful, you should have in-depth knowledge of an agency as a digital native.

They are looking for a leader and a deal closer. As an individual contributor, this role will be responsible for reaching out to prospective clients across North America, targeting specific industries, identifying gaps in their digital strategy and recommending marketing solutions/

What you will do:

Build new business opportunities, research, identify, prospect, contact and sell digital services to new clients.

Create and manage a pipeline of the appropriate number of qualified leads to achieve new business targets

Responsibility for the full sales cycle from creating a pipeline to closing the deal.

Help build an effective end-to-end sales process across the funnel.

Works closely with management team members throughout the sales cycle and determine the appropriate strategy and marketing approach for prospects

Ensure a smooth transition of new clients to an Account Team.

Create and instill trust and establish credibility in the market.

Find and Build new business opportunities for the agency.

Articulate the value of a digital transformation and able to convince C-level executives of the value

You will position their agency's full-service offering that includes strategy, creative and technology.

Drive the Business Development pipeline in close partnership with the Senior Management and marketing team.

Manage the entire sales process to ensure delivery against KPIs and targets with a strong emphasis on new business sales

Lead end-to-end presales, RFP needs RFP response/pitch process.

Participate in relevant marketing and industry events.·

Be passionate about the impact your work has on clients' digital presence.

Accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasting and revenue delivery.·


What you should have:·

7+ years of experience in selling digital advertising or digital services in a consultative sales capacity: experience working in digital agencies or a technology partner

.

Have an exceptional track record of closing new business, exceeding new business targets in an agency environment

Experience in enterprise-level sales with complex sales techniques with multiple stakeholders.

Experience in building and managing teams is desirable.·

Flexibility and ability to adjust on the fly to new demands and business environments, sense of urgency.·

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and people skills working with internal teams and client teams·

Knowledge of web-based technology used for business advertising with an understanding of digital lead generation services

Experience selling a service with excellent presentation skills, with the ability to think quickly

Experience in preparing quality RFP's and presenting to C-level decision makers, preferably within medium to large US-based companies with a national scope

Excellent interpersonal and relationship development skills, both internally and externally.

A good understanding of businesses and possible prospects within the region of the local offices

High-energy and highly responsive, with the ability to empathize with potential clients and determine creative solutions that meet the needs of the client
