We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Product Designer to join our dynamic Trading, Investing, Advice team. In this team, you will work closely with product managers, content designers, dedicated researchers, developers, and designers across the platform to provide innovative financial products to our clients.

  • You will participate and influence the design decisions for banking digital experiences that impact our customers every day.
  • You will understand our customers' motivations and needs, leveraging rigorous design research and usability principles along with your intuitive design sense.
  • You will consider customer interactions and journeys and act as an advocate for their constant improvement through accessible and inclusive design principles and implementation.
  • You will partner and collaborate with product management, engineering, research, designers across multiple platforms and other key players to envision and build products that make our customer’s experience useful, engaging, and effective while supporting our business goals.
  • You will consume and contribute to a design system and advocate for its usage.
  • You will independently plan for upcoming deliverables and deliver high-quality results in a timely manner.
  • You will run and participate in design jams and workshops with other designers and stakeholders.
  • You will produce compelling visual deliverables to illustrate desired customer experiences and provide detailed specifications for software developers.
  • You are eager to learn and flexible to adapt to changing requirements and priorities.
  • You will drive Lean/agile UX approaches pervasively throughout the product lifecycle.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?

  • 5+ years of experience designing for and maintaining responsive web and native mobile platforms.
  • A portfolio of work that presents the story of projects you have worked on, your role, and examples of your problem-solving methods.
  • Post-secondary education in interaction design or a closely related field.
  • Expertise in the use of Figma for digital design and prototyping.
  • Ability to work within the constraints of a Design System with flexibility.
  • Ability to communicate concepts, ideas, and strategies using rapid visual design techniques.
  • A positive and resilient personality, able to embrace feedback and desire for continuous iteration and improvement.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaborating with other designers and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Effectively able to prioritize and pivot in response to evolving business constraints and new requirements.
  • A fast learner with an appetite to uncover what is behind both simple and complex financial solutions.
  • A demonstrable history of applying design thinking tenets and user-centered design principles to design problems.
  • Solid understanding of Human-centered Design practices, including Design thinking methodologies, research, and user testing protocols.
  • A high level of technical acuity with a thorough understanding of front-end technologies.
