Job Description

Mohawk is seeking a highly skilled Regional Sales Director to drive business growth and development in Canada. This role is responsible for leading a team of Account Executives and developing strategic business plans to achieve sales objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and execute business development strategies to drive sales growth and revenue expansion.
  2. Lead and mentor a team of Account Executives to achieve sales targets and provide coaching and guidance to ensure team success.
  3. Collaborate with the Regional Vice President to align commercial sales business plans with regional strategies and objectives.
  4. Represent the commercial business unit and implement trade activity calendars to exploit business opportunities and strengthen the brand position in the marketplace.
  5. Establish sales objectives for the region and ensure sales activities comply with established policies, procedures, and practices.
Requirements:
  1. Four-year college degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  2. ~5-7 or more years of related work experience and any combination of education and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
  3. Knowledge of the terms, concepts, and practices of the marketing and sales environment, including product development and manufacturing procedures, distribution, customer service, and basic accounting.
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact and negotiate with internal and external customers and business contacts at all organizational levels.
  5. Ability to learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of a company's diverse business and product lines, as well as gather, assemble, correlate, and analyze statistical and financial data.
  6. Maintaining professionalism and utilizing appropriate conflict resolution methods in all situations in accordance with corporate standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Thorough knowledge of Mohawk products, distribution options, sales strategies, and/or programs.
  2. Ability to travel up to 50% for trade shows, customer visitation, team meetings, etc.
