They are seeking a highly dedicated and driven Branch General Manager to lead and manage their flagship operation.

As the Branch General Manager, you are the business leader responsible for developing and executing sales, personnel, and operations plans for your area. You will hire, train, and develop employees to create a high-performing team, while implementing strategies to improve productivity, identify new markets, and increase market share. With the support of a strong sales and operations team, you will focus on driving profitable P&L results through effective sales strategies, strong operational systems, and maintaining vendor/supplier relations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Support your sales team with key client relationships.
  2. Overall P&L responsibility, achieving optimal gross profit gains through strong sales strategies and operational efficiencies.
  3. Hire, train, and develop employees in sales and operations.
  4. Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity.
  5. Identify new markets and increase market share in the Commercial, Industrial, and OEM segments in BC.
  6. Manage branch operations and warehousing, leading a team of sales professionals.
  7. Ensure operations are managed safely and in accordance with the company’s values.
  8. Maintain a strong customer service focus to ensure satisfaction, retention, and growth.
  9. Foster a supportive company culture through team building and a personal hands-on approach.
REQUIREMENTS:
  1. Bachelor’s Degree or 2-year Diploma in Business, Marketing, or Operations is preferred.
  2. Experience leading a team and managing a large-scale operation within a Distribution setting is essential.
  3. Entrepreneurial, growth-oriented mindset with the ability to operate independently.
  4. Proven outside sales and business development experience is an asset.
  5. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  6. Capacity to lead by example and support various departments.
  7. Exceptional relationship-building and leadership skills.
  8. Analytical and critical thinker with multitasking capabilities.
