Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst - Leases to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing LDB's lease accounting, providing advisory services in the development and monitoring of lease accounting framework, and ensuring compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage LDB's lease accounting, including reviewing and analyzing lease contracts to assess financial impacts
  • Provide advisory services in the development and monitoring of lease accounting framework
  • Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) accounting standards
  • Compile and interpret monthly lease financial results and compare with budget allocation
  • Propose recommendations on the financial implications of negotiated lease terms and rates
Requirements
  • Canadian professional accounting designation (CPA) and a membership in good standing
  • Minimum three (3) years of recent, related experience in lease accounting, lease reporting, and application of lease policies
  • Experience analyzing contracts, financial and accounting statements for leases
