My client is a global restaurant franchise operator and they a have been rapidly expanding their brand in the hospitality/restaurant industry. Due to growth they need an individual to cover the marketing marketing for the stores in Canada.Job Summary: Responsible for designing, coordinating, and directing marketing initiatives to drive brand growth and consistency across Canada. Focuses on accelerating sales, enhancing profitability, and improving market positioning.Key Responsibilities:Drive revenue, sales, and profitability goals in Canada.Develop and implement strategic marketing plans across product, pricing, and promotions.Analyze sales data to inform marketing strategies and improve profitability.Create and execute marketing plans for new market entries, including competitive assessments and consumer research.Develop and refine menu architecture to maximize sales and franchisee profitability.Manage product approvals and sales forecasts.Oversee digital marketing channels to boost sales and online ordering.Ensure consistent brand communication and manage agency relationships.Provide data-driven guidance to franchisees to enhance market performance.Franchisee Collaboration:Work with franchisees to build tailored marketing calendars, including promotions and media planning.Lead and facilitate regional marketing cooperatives and manage advertising funds.Guide and influence franchisee marketing teams on strategic planning and brand positioning.Brand Marketing:Lead regional brand strategies, including objectives and KPIs.Design campaigns and promotional materials to strengthen the brand.Ensure product development aligns with consumer needs and brand standards.Product & Menu Management:Collaborate with international teams on new product development and menu management.Coordinate cross-functional efforts to introduce new products and structure the menu for optimal sales and profitability.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (MBA a plus).Experience with CRM, SEO, content management systems, and digital marketing.Strong analytical skills and ability to turn insights into actionable results.Must reside in the Greater Toronto area.Experience in the restaurant or retail industry preferred.Strong communication, project management, and leadership skills.Competencies:Critical thinking, initiative, and creativity.Ability to influence, manage execution, and build relationships.Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
