We are currently seeking an Equipment Installer to join our team in Toronto, Ontario.

Details of the position are as follows:

  • Where: 157 Adesso Drive, Concord, ON L4K 3C3 and various customer sites across Ontario
  • Job Vacancies: One (1)
  • Start Date: As soon as possible
  • Terms of Employment: Full-Time, Permanent

Duties:

  • Installation of laundry and fabricare equipment and venting
  • Completing installation that meets company quality standards.
  • Measuring and marking guidelines to be used for installations.
  • Uploading photos and completing installation order.
  • Completing orders and using company calendar for scheduling.
  • Following and carrying out instructions provided by the Installation Manager.
  • Making sure all equipment is functioning properly before leaving the job site.
  • Setting up and explaining equipment in a comprehensive way.
  • Providing technical service, when required.
  • Dealing with confidential information and/or issues using discretion and judgment.
  • Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Position Requirements / Skills:

  • Completion of secondary school.
  • Valid Ontario Driver’s License and insurability to drive vehicles is required.
  • Ability to travel across Ontario.
  • Experience installing laundry and fabricare equipment and venting, preferred.
  • Flexibility in scheduling, ability to work evenings, and if necessary, occasionally on weekends.
  • Ability to understand and follow work order specifications, instructions and installation procedures.
  • Possess basic handyman skills.
  • Maintaining punctual attendance and working flexible schedules as needed.
  • On-the-job training and several months of related installing, repairing or servicing experience usually required.
  • A mechanical and electronic aptitude.
  • The ability and initiative to work independently with accuracy.
  • Organized and client focused.
  • Reliable and able to work in a team environment as required.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers, clients, supervisors, and/or co-workers

Language Requirements: English

Wages: $24.00 per hour / Overtime rate of $36.00 per hour after 44 hours of work per week

Work Hours: 40 hours per week, with occasional overtime.

Benefits: 10 days’ vacation, and standard company benefits upon completion of probationary period, including dental, health, educational assistance, and vehicle allowance.
