About the Role

AIM Telecom Inc. is seeking a skilled Telecommunications Equipment Installer to join our team. As a Telecommunications Equipment Installer, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Installation and Maintenance: Install, arrange, remove, and maintain telephone equipment, wiring, and associated hardware.
  • Equipment Repair and Replacement: Repair or replace defective telephone equipment, cables, power suppliers, and amplifiers.
  • Testing and Analysis: Operate computerized testing systems to conduct service tests on customer lines and equipment, and analyze test results to adjust, change, or repair switching systems, networks, associated equipment, and software.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Complete and maintain test and service reports, and initiate the dispatch of appropriate repair personnel.
  • Travel and Transportation: Willing to travel to various locations to perform installation, maintenance, and repair tasks.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in telecommunications equipment installation and maintenance.
  • Skills: Attention to detail, combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling, manual dexterity, client focus, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, accurate, and dependability.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with 30 to 35 hours of work per week. The work language is English.
