The Position

Position Title: Marketing & Workflow Consultant Lead, Digital Pathology & Workflow Solutions

As the Marketing & Workflow Consultant Lead, Digital Pathology & Workflow Solutions, you will be the resident technical expert responsible for the portfolio management and commercial support for the Digital Pathology & Workflow Solutions portfolio. As a key member of the Roche Information Solutions (RIS) Squad, you will work closely with the Pathology Lab Marketing Strategist, Marketing Specialist, Technical Product Manager, as well as collaborate with a broad group of internal and external stakeholders to ensure we are maximizing the portfolio to meet the evolving needs of the Canadian market. You will own all detailed technical product aspects and management of the portfolio. You will ensure that a stellar experience is created for all involved.

The Opportunity

  • Play a key role in the RIS Squad to ensure alignment and strong communication between the Pathology Lab Franchise and RIS, providing needed sales support and delivery of programs/solutions
  • Lead the development and management of the Digital Pathology & Workflow Solutions portfolio including the coordination of new releases, and accountable for the successful management of the portfolio solutions' life cycle from 'cradle to grave'
  • Will co-own premarket plan/business case for new solutions and align with Pathology Lab Marketing Strategist, leading to solution launch
  • Responsible for solution forecasts, issues, improvements, responses to NAM and Global RIS and Pathology Lab Life Cycle engagement
  • Will serve as the solution expert to respond to RFPs, to educate the Customer Support and Sales team members and will assist in developing needed training updates to all relevant stakeholders
  • Provide expert technical advice to support a variety of pre and/or post sales activities to manage complex sales and resolve customer questions and concerns and perform IT workflow assessments
  • Work with the customer support team to ensure the service strategy is designed appropriately. Ensures the customer support team is properly trained on the solutions and equipped with all necessary information and documentation prior to a launch
  • Provide technical expertise through sales presentations, solution demonstrations, assist the sales and/or field staff in assessing potential application of company solutions to meet customer needs and preparing detailed solution specifications for the development and implementation of customer applications and/or solutions
  • Provide implementation and follow-up support to sales staff and customer personnel by disseminating technical information on specific applications, ensuring that the solution is functioning according to specifications

Who you are

  • 7+ years of field & IT experience preferred (including IT Network and/or IT Security knowledge, cybersecurity)
  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in a related field preferred (e.g Information Solutions, Healthcare related science) or equivalent experience
  • Experience with presenting technical information to both external and internal audiences with a focus on customer centricity
  • Strong problem solving skills and knowledge of technical and market issues/factors
  • Strategic and tactical planning experience
  • Strong advocate in leading change management
  • Reside anywhere in Canada with the understanding of meetings focusing on EST
  • Travel up to 50% annually

Preferred
  • Bilingual in English & French preferred
  • Product Management experience preferred
  • Experience in selling and promoting complex medical diagnostics equipment or IT solutions preferred

  • Diriger le développement et la gestion du portfolio de solutions de pathologie numérique et de flux de travail, y compris la coordination de nouvelles versions, et responsable de la gestion réussie du cycle de vie des solutions du portfolio, de la conception à l’abandon
  • Serez copropriétaire du plan de pré-commercialisation/analyse de rentabilisation pour les nouvelles solutions et responsable de s'aligner avec le stratège marketing, menant à une solution de lancement
  • Responsable des prévisions de solutions, problèmes, améliorations, réponses à NAM et engagement avec les équipes globales de RIS et du laboratoire de pathologie
  • Servirez d’expert en solutions pour répondre aux appels d'offres, former les membres de l'équipe de support et de vente et aider à développer les mises à jour de formation nécessaires pour toutes les parties prenantes concernées
  • Fournir des conseils techniques pour prendre en charge une variété d’activités avant et/ou après-vente , résoudre les questions et préoccupations des clients et effectuer des analyses de flux de travail en clientèle
  • Travaillez avec l’équipe de support client pour assurer que la stratégie de service est conçue de manière appropriée. S'assurer que l'équipe de support est correctement formée sur les solutions et équipée de toutes les informations et documentations nécessaires avant un lancement
  • Fournir une expertise technique à travers des présentations commerciales, des démonstrations, aider les ventes et/ou le personnel de terrain à évaluer l'application potentielle des solutions pour répondre aux besoins des clients Fournir un support de mise en œuvre et de suivi au personnel commercial en diffusant des informations techniques sur des applications spécifiques, en veillant à ce que la solution est conforme aux spécifications

Qui vous êtes:

  • Plus de 7 ans d'expérience dans le domaine des affaires lié à l’informatique (y compris des connaissances en réseau informatique et/ou en sécurité informatique, cybersécurité)
  • Baccalauréat ou maîtrise dans un domaine connexe préféré (par exemple, solutions d'information, sciences liées à la santé) ou expérience équivalente
  • Expérience dans la présentation d'informations techniques en mettant l'accent sur l'orientation client
  • Compétences en résolution de problèmes et connaissance des problèmes/facteurs techniques et du marché
  • Expérience en planification stratégique et tactique
  • Fervent défenseur de la gestion du changement
