Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable Executive Assistant to support our Founder & CEO. This role is pivotal in driving the business forward and optimizing processes under the CEO’s guidance. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, flexible environment and will be a key player in achieving our company’s ambitious goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the CEO’s trusted right hand, assisting in day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives.
- Understand and prioritize company objectives to support the CEO efficiently.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including scheduling meetings and managing communications.
- Conduct research, prepare reports, and draft correspondence.
- Optimize business processes and suggest improvements.
- Assist with social media management and other marketing tasks as needed.
- Manage and organize the CEO’s calendar and travel arrangements.
- Handle sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality.
- Participate in business development activities and projects to help grow the company.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Adaptability and willingness to tackle a variety of tasks.
- Understanding of the grocery industry is an asset.
- Comfortable speaking on the phone and managing meetings.
- Social media knowledge is an asset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Hourly rate: $19.00-24.00 based on experience and qualifications.
- Strong potential for growth within the company.
- Free grocery plan.
- Health plan available at 6 months.
- Remote work with a flexible schedule possible.
- Paid Time Off (PTO) for 15 days.
- Annual bonus of up to $10,000 CAD.
