In this pivotal position, you will be advising on a wide range of strategic programs, analyzing business performance, and identifying opportunities to achieve business goals. By leveraging your experience in management consultancy or corporate strategy, you will help leadership make informed decisions, achieve business objectives, and manage complex scenarios, ultimately contributing to OpenText’s long-term success.

WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS
  1. Strategic Program Leadership: Lead teams in tackling critical, strategic requests through analytical problem solving, effective project management, cross-functional collaboration, and C-suite engagement.
  2. Market Research & Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats within the industry when required.
  3. Business Performance Analysis: Analyze business operations and data to assess company performance and identify areas for improvement.
  4. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with department heads and key stakeholders to ensure alignment of strategic initiatives with operational plans.
  5. Deliver Recommendations: Deliver clear action plans to show recommended next steps that demonstrate efficiency, value creation, and measurable improvements.
  6. Reporting & Presentations: Prepare and present crisp strategic reports, dashboards, and executive presentations to C-level leadership, supported by data-driven recommendations.
  7. Strategic Planning: Execution of the company’s long-term strategic plan, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  8. Data Analysis & Financial Acumen: Ability to manage and manipulate large data sets to effectively generate insights that will inform strategic initiatives. Experience working with financial information.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field (MBA or relevant Master’s degree preferred).
  2. Minimum 10 years of experience in strategy development, management consulting, corporate development, or a related field.
  3. Proven track record in leading strategic initiatives, managing teams, and working with senior leadership.
  4. Strong data analysis skills and financial acumen.
  5. Expertise in market research, data analysis, and competitive intelligence.
  6. Excellent leadership, project management, and organizational skills.
  7. Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.
  8. Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior executives.
