Job Purpose:
The Manager, Digital Marketing, will help lead Rexall’s digital strategy and grow its online presence. Supporting Pharmacy, Front Shop and Loyalty (Be Well), this role will partner closely with cross functional teams including Analytics, Marketing, Merchandising, and Pharmacy, to recommend impactful initiatives that will help achieve and exceed annual targets. The Manager will leverage Be Well customer data to increase communication relevance and drive customer engagement across the Be Well & Rexall ecosystems. You will develop and manage annual direct to consumer marketing plans that support various business units within Rexall, as well as external Be Well partners. Develop data-driven customer journeys using Salesforce Marketing Cloud to automate and optimize member communications across digital channels. Reporting into the Director, Digital Marketing & Loyalty, the Manager will lead a highly motivated team and closely collaborate with various stakeholders across the organization.
What you will be doing:
- Lead the planning and execution of cohesive digital marketing initiatives across a growing and evolving digital ecosystem.
- Work collaboratively with Rexall’s marketing team to develop omni-channel marketing strategies to support cross functional business goals, objectives, and priorities.
- Manage the relationship with Rexall’s digital marketing agency.
- Oversee the digital creative process; ensuring assets are delivered on time, including stakeholders review, asset approvals, and initiatives launch on schedule.
- Build deep rooted relationships with vendor partners to create mutually beneficial campaigns and grow vendor funding.
- Lead meetings with internal and external partners to define marketing program, objectives and desired results.
- Lead Digital Marketing planning and calendar management (Owned channels)
- Oversee weekly email planning & act as agency liaison (Rexall & Be Well), collaborating with Brand Managers.
- Lead Campaign Management integration for Front Shop, Loyalty and Pharmacy initiatives.
- Lead digital creative stakeholder review & approvals.
- Manage the day-to-day coordination of vendor DNA packages & results sharing (Front Shop & Pharmacy).
- Determine channel placement and cadence, CX flow, A/B testing, support creative approval, channel delivery, campaign integration, results learning, and strategy optimization.
- Lead digital ecosystem analytics, and facilitate post campaign analysis, insights & learnings.
- Measure efficiency and effectiveness of digital channels.
- Closely monitor Digital Marketing Trends & Strategies and competitive landscape.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support Rexall Pharmacy Group ULC.
How you will succeed:
- University Degree or College Diploma.
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in digital marketing campaign management.
- Exceptional project management skills with strong attention to detail.
- Proactive, independent self-starter, and resourceful.
- Strong ability to prioritize multiple projects; set and manage priorities to meet deadlines within a multi-tasking environment with changing priorities.
- Business acumen skills – budget management, strategic tradeoffs, excellent analytical and influencing skills.
- Strong written and presentation abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build partnerships to effectively source information, obtain approvals and build relationships.
- Familiarity with SFMC considered an asset.
