Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy aligned with business objectives, market trends, and regulatory requirements, ensuring a strategic approach to data management and utilization.
Define data governance frameworks, data quality standards, and data lifecycle management processes to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across the organization.
Identify opportunities for data-driven innovation, such as advanced analytics, AI/machine learning, and predictive modeling, to drive business growth and competitive advantage.
Data Operations:
Lead data operations to ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of enterprise data assets, enabling effective data collection, processing, storage, and retrieval.
Drive data analytics efforts to derive actionable insights, identify trends, and support data-driven decision-making across the organization, enhancing business performance and competitiveness.
Data Integration:
Oversee data integration processes and tools to facilitate seamless data flow across systems, ensuring data consistency, accuracy, and timeliness for informed decision-making.
Data Governance:
Establish robust data governance policies, standards, and procedures to ensure data quality, security, privacy, and regulatory compliance, fostering a culture of data stewardship and accountability.
Oversee effective data governance frameworks and controls to mitigate risks, enhance data integrity, and build trust in data-driven initiatives.
Oversee the design and implementation of robust enterprise data architecture, including data models, schemas, and storage solutions, aligning data architecture with business needs and scalability requirements.
Evaluate and recommend data management technologies and platforms to optimize data architecture, infrastructure, and performance, driving innovation and agility in data management.
Data Platform Management:
Oversee data platform management, including databases, data warehouses, and analytics platforms, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and reliability of data storage and retrieval mechanisms.
Implement robust data security measures, access controls, and disaster recovery plans to protect sensitive data assets and ensure business continuity.
Collaborate with cross functional teams, including Digital Solutions in technology, operations and business to understand Enterprise data requirements and deliver analytics solutions.
Communicate complex data concepts and findings to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
Build and lead a high-performing team of enterprise data professionals, providing mentorship, coaching, and professional development opportunities.
~ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field; 10+ years of progressive experience in experience including several years at senior levels overseeing Data and Technology in mid to large organization, with a proven track record of driving strategic initiatives and delivering impactful results.
~ Proven experience in data management, analytics, governance, architecture, and platform management roles, with a strong track record of driving data-driven strategies and initiatives.
~ Proven experience in architecting and implementing a modern cloud data platform, leveraging Azure to enable scalable, flexible, and cost-effective data solutions.
~ Deep understanding of data management principles, data governance frameworks, data integration technologies, and data analytics tools.
~ Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and drive results in a dynamic environment.
