Position Overview:

LifeLabs Medical Laboratory Services is currently seeking a Medical Lab Technologist specializing in High Volume Chemistry. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate and timely diagnostic testing and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a diverse array of diagnostic and interpretive specimen testing.
  • Perform, interpret, and release results while maintaining patient confidentiality.
  • Identify incidents and non-conformities, contributing to the development of effective corrective action plans.
  • Assist in evaluating and implementing new technologies.
  • Engage in problem-solving related to work organization and workflow efficiency.

Work Schedule:

This is a part-time regular position with a flexible schedule, specifically set for a rotation of Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, totaling 22.5 hours per week.

Qualifications:

  • College diploma or University degree in Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with diverse individuals.
  • Proficient computer skills and knowledge.
  • Problem-solving abilities, including the capacity to identify and address issues.
