The Company is seeking a Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead its data and information programs. The CIO will be at the forefront of developing a system to compile, manage, link, and analyze complex data sets, with a focus on driving initiatives that support the organization's mandate. This includes overseeing data collection, analysis, and interpretation, developing data analytics strategies, and ensuring data quality and governance. The successful candidate will also be responsible for the organization's cybersecurity, monitoring and safeguarding information assets, and leading responses and recovery actions. Expertise in enterprise data solutions, analytics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning is essential, as is a proven track record in the management and analysis of complex data.

The ideal CIO for the company will have a comprehensive understanding of data governance, with a strong preference for a background in health, mental health, or addictions, or a related field with highly complex data sets. Experience in data protection and privacy is a required skill for this role. The CIO will work with a commitment to real-world impact, informing decision-makers with the best available information to enable the best possible outcomes. The role involves close collaboration with other government departments and third parties to integrate data insights and requires the implementation of industry standard metrics to evaluate data and system reliability.
