The Manager, Learning & Performance is responsible for implementing an outcome-focused approach to organizational learning. The Manager works with the Director, Learning and Performance and collaborates with a team of learning professionals to align learning solutions to business strategy, assess learning gaps and estimate value, manage the design of learning experiences, execute and scale effectively, and measure the impact of learning on business results. The Manager’s planning, oversight, and execution of learning programs and initiatives strengthen onboarding for new hires and ongoing capability development, compliance, and performance at Kensington Tours.

As a Manager, Learning & Performance, you will:

  • Manage all stages of the learning lifecycle including needs assessment, curriculum design, instructional design, content development, delivery, measurement, and maintenance
  • Working with the Director, Learning and Performance complete performance needs assessments to identify gaps between current performance and desired results to identify opportunities to develop learning solutions
  • Complete learning needs analysis to assess the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary for effective performance, documenting desired learning outcomes
  • Develop role-based competency profiles and learning paths to support a best-in-class onboarding program and ongoing employee, with an emphasis on front-line luxury-related sales and service as well as leadership development
  • Complete, or oversee instructional designers who complete, a design analysis, identifying context requirements, researching subject matter, conducting a task analysis, and planning the design of learning experiences including appropriate format selection and assessment planning
  • Complete, or oversee instructional designers who develop learning solutions, creating appropriate content for courses that may include video, photos, audio, tests, quizzes, and interactive activities
  • Manage end-to-end design projects, acting as a liaison between Subject Matter Experts and Instructional Designers
  • Facilitate learning experiences including for organizational leaders as well as ensure the training of facilitators
  • Develop and implement a delivery and communications plan
  • Develop an evaluation plan, instruments, and reporting method to assess outcomes, calculate metrics, communicating results, and leveraging insights to improve the solution

Qualifications:

  • Degree or certification in Adult Education, Corporate Learning and Development, or equivalent experience with the ADDIE model (or similar)
  • 5 years of experience in the design and facilitation of workshops supporting multiple levels of an organization
  • Demonstrated proficiency in instructional design software including Articulate Storyline, Rise, and Camtasia
  • Experience managing and implementing learning programs
  • Strong understanding of Adult Learning principles and theories and their practical application
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships within a diverse organization
  • Experience working in the travelindustry or a luxury service provider would be an asset
