Zuma has experienced unprecedented growth over the last five years, and plans are developing to scale the company to capture huge market potential. Zuma is seeking a Director of Sales to strategically drive revenue and scale their sales teams, as the company plans to open multiple branches across North America.
This is a unique opportunity to join a highly committed, fast paced, results-driven executive leadership team who are on the cutting edge of implementing technology. Zuma is in the process of integrating advanced AI technologies to analyze sales data (including call transcripts, chats, CRM data, and SMS) to enhance their sales strategies and team performance. They are looking for a Director of Sales who excels in leadership, interpersonal relationships, and is enthusiastic about embracing these new technologies.
As Director of Sales, you will lead, coach, and develop Zuma’s sales teams, implement a structured sales operating system, and drive growth and exceptional customer service. As a member of the senior leadership team, you will need to have your finger on the pulse of all sales-related areas of Zuma’s operations.

As Zuma moves towards a more technologically advanced sales environment, they need a leader who can bridge the gap between human interaction and AI-driven insights. This role is crucial in ensuring our sales team not only adapts to these changes, but thrives;
leading to increased sales performance and customer satisfaction.
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
Proven track record of success in sales; preferably in the construction or industrial equipment industries.
~10-15 years’ experience in sales, with at least 5 years’ experience in a managerial or leadership role (leading a sales team and implementing sales processes).
~ Strong knowledge and understanding of sales principles, techniques, and methodologies.
~ Strong people management and project management skills with the ability to build, coach, inspire, and engage a high-performing team.
Technical Proficiency
Proficient with CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
Basic understanding of AI applications in sales and a willingness to leverage them for performance improvement.
Comfortable analyzing complex data sets to inform decision-making.
Gifted at building strong internal and external relationships with employees, customers, suppliers, and partners.
