Serving customers across BC, Ontario, Yukon, and NWT, we are rapidly expanding into new markets and seeking a driven Capital Equipment Sales Manager to lead our sales team and accelerate our growth.

The Opportunity

As the Capital Equipment Sales Manager , you will play a critical role in shaping and executing our sales strategy. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will lead a high-performing team, drive revenue growth, and contribute to the company’s aggressive expansion plans. For the right candidate, this position offers significant career advancement opportunities within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop & Execute Sales Strategy: Design and implement comprehensive sales plans aligned with company objectives. Conduct market analysis, identify target customers, and develop competitive pricing strategies.
  • Lead & Develop the Sales Team: Hire, train, and mentor a high-performance sales team. Provide coaching, performance feedback, and quarterly evaluations to drive success.
  • Set & Achieve Sales Goals: Establish clear, measurable sales targets for individuals and the team, ensuring alignment with business growth objectives.
  • Monitor & Optimize Performance: Track key sales metrics, analyze performance data, and identify areas for improvement to maximize results.
  • Manage the Sales Pipeline: Oversee lead qualification and ensure seamless progression through the sales cycle.
  • Sales Reporting: Present regular sales performance reports and insights to senior management.
  • Budget Oversight: Manage sales budgets effectively, control expenses, and allocate resources efficiently.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience leading, managing, and holding a sales team accountable.
  • Strong industrial B2B sales background —preferably in aggregate, mining, or heavy equipment (willing to train the right candidate).
  • Expertise in consultative selling and value-based sales approaches .
  • High emotional intelligence , fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Deep understanding of the sales cycle , from prospecting to closing high-value deals.
  • Excellent written communication skills with a keen eye for detail and professionalism.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven , able to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Passionate about continuous learning, personal development, and growth.
