YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Schedule and conduct customer contacts through in-person visits and telephone calls, following management objectives.
- Utilize expertise in sales processes for the material handling or industrial parts industries to identify customer needs and present relevant products and services.
- Prepare and deliver sales analysis reports and presentations to staff and management as needed.
- Navigate and research information within company ERP and CRM systems to check product pricing and availability, and manage customer feedback and action items.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with key personnel within the assigned geographical territory.
- Upload necessary data into company systems as required.
HOW TO SUCCEED
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in territory sales or related sales positions is required.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Marketing is preferred.
- Should have a strong understanding of the material handling and/or industrial parts industry, including familiarity with small earth moving parts, customers, suppliers, and vendors.
- Must be able to travel for business up to 70-75% of the time.
- Must demonstrate effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Suite (Mail, Calendar, Hangouts, Sheets, Drive).
