Responsibilities
- Lead client facing engagement teams to complete audits, compliance tax engagements, budgeting, internal controls and financial/accounting transactions
- Deliver industry and technical expertise in audit and assurance through client interactions, reports, technical work, management presentations and high-quality deliverables
- Manage a portfolio of clients while understanding their business, key risks and ways to deliver added value; ensure clients’ needs are met and that relationships and accounts grow and develop
- Accountable for engagement planning and scheduling as well as project financials (i.e., budgets, WIPS, timely billing, collection, variance recognition)
- Maintain quality control and apply specialized knowledge to anticipate, identify and address issues relevant to the client’s business, financial entries and reports
- Network in the local business community, consider business development opportunities and contribute to the preparation and delivery of competitive proposals to meet client needs
- Mentor, motivate and coach team members towards professional and personal development by setting clear expectations, providing feedback and conducting performance reviews
- Maintain flexibility to travel, as necessary
- CPA designation
- 4 to 6 years of relevant public accounting experience
- Strong understanding of business, accounting, management and practice development principles
- Proven people management, relationship building and leadership skills

Responsabilités
- Diriger des équipes appelées à servir les clients dans la réalisation d’audits et de mandats de conformité fiscale, ainsi que dans l’établissement de budgets, les contrôles internes et les opérations financières et comptables.
- Fournir une expertise sectorielle et technique en audit et en certification à l’aide d’échanges avec le client, de rapports, de travaux techniques, de présentations à l’intention de la direction et de livrables de haute qualité.
- Gérer un éventail de clients en s’assurant de comprendre leurs activités, les principaux risques et les façons d’offrir une valeur ajoutée; veiller à répondre aux besoins du client, à bâtir des relations et à faire croître les comptes.
- Prendre en charge la planification et l’organisation des missions ainsi que les paramètres financiers des projets (les budgets, les travaux en cours, la facturation, le recouvrement et la comptabilisation des écarts).
- Assurer le contrôle qualité et appliquer des connaissances spécialisées pour prévoir, cerner et résoudre les problèmes relatifs à l’entreprise ainsi qu’aux écritures et aux rapports de nature financière du client.
- Faire du réseautage et de la prospection dans le milieu des affaires local; contribuer à la préparation et à l’envoi d’offres de services concurrentielles qui répondent aux besoins des clients.
- Fournir du mentorat aux membres de l’équipe, les motiver et les encadrer pour qu’ils puissent se perfectionner et s’épanouir grâce à des objectifs clairs, à de la rétroaction régulière et à des évaluations de rendement annuelles.
- Être disposé à se déplacer, au besoin.
- Titre de CPA
- 4 à 6 ans d’expérience pertinente en comptabilité publique
- Excellente compréhension des principes d’affaires, de comptabilité, de gestion et de prospection
- Leadership reconnu et aptitudes éprouvées pour la gestion de personnel et les relations interpersonnelles
