We are currently seeking talented HR professionals to join our HR Business Partner teamMinimum Requirements:
- Eight years HR Generalist experience including five years as a hands-on HR business partner
- A Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources management or related field; focus on organizational effectiveness, change management or labour relations
- Experience leading complex projects and initiatives, including workforce planning, talent management, and change management
- Strong working knowledge and experience in employee and labour relations
- The ability to think and act strategically and positively influence others without direct authority
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose organizational effectiveness and identify gaps and opportunities that impact business results
- Focus on strategic issues and activities across the business unit
- Support culture and talent outcomes in support of strategic objectives
- Lead HR cycles such as performance management, compensation, career development, workforce planning and succession planning
- Coach leadership to enable team effectiveness and leadership alignment sessions
- Facilitate talent pipeline conversations
- Design and quickly implement solutions that cut across multiple disciplines; even those beyond people and organizational solutions
- Maintain positive relationships with centers of expertise (COE), HR Operations and the Business Partner community
- Serve as the HR lead on medium to large projects both within the business and across the functional groups
Location and other Key Details:
- You will work out of our Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150 – 6th Ave S.W.
- Some of our HR Business Partner roles require frequent business travel to our operating sites
- Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, with the potential for extended work hours based on business needs
