HR Business Partner Lead

We are currently seeking talented HR professionals to join our HR Business Partner team
Minimum Requirements:
Eight years HR Generalist experience including five years as a hands-on HR business partner
A Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources management or related field; focus on organizational effectiveness, change management or labour relations
Experience leading complex projects and initiatives, including workforce planning, talent management, and change management
Strong working knowledge and experience in employee and labour relations
The ability to think and act strategically and positively influence others without direct authority
Responsibilities:
Diagnose organizational effectiveness and identify gaps and opportunities that impact business results
Focus on strategic issues and activities across the business unit
Support culture and talent outcomes in support of strategic objectives
Lead HR cycles such as performance management, compensation, career development, workforce planning and succession planning
Coach leadership to enable team effectiveness and leadership alignment sessions
Facilitate talent pipeline conversations
Design and quickly implement solutions that cut across multiple disciplines; even those beyond people and organizational solutions
Maintain positive relationships with centers of expertise (COE), HR Operations and the Business Partner community
Serve as the HR lead on medium to large projects both within the business and across the functional groups
Location and other Key Details:
You will work out of our Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150 – 6th Ave S.W.
Some of our HR Business Partner roles require frequent business travel to our operating sites
Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, with the potential for extended work hours based on business needs
