We’re on the hunt for a dynamic and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to join the team at Cornwall’s only largescale theatre. Our Marketing Coordinator will thrive on organisation and structure, embedding a strong foundation for our ambitious marketing team. In this role, you’ll help us meet our ambitious sales goals by supporting the team in coordinating digital assets such as imagery and video, physical marketing materials including flyers, and channel activity such as advertising. You’ll be regularly communicating with the HfC team, show promoters and external partners to assist in delivering high-quality marketing activities. The right candidate will be thirsty for more, and this role has many opportunities for growth.

A flavour of what you’ll be doing
Coordinating the creation, sign-off, and filing of assets and marketing materials including flyers, programmes, website show pages, and emails.
Preparing and distributing promotional materials both on-site and with external companies.
Ensuring the website is up to date with the latest information including copy, artwork, dates, and times.
Assisting in maintaining customer databases and ensuring data accuracy.
Assisting in the delivery of individual show and genre marketing activity.
Assisting with reporting on marketing performance.
Assisting on specific marketing-led projects.
Organising and maintaining marketing files, records, and documents. As information arrives, you’ll deal with it promptly and file it centrally so that files and materials are easily accessible.
Using our systems and tools to track, update and coordinate up-to-date theatre listings and information for our audiences.
Who we’re looking for
Essential:
Extremely organised with a knack for systematising tasks – skilled in creating and coordinating processes
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
Proactive planner with a preference for structure and systems thinking
Great IT skills (especially Excel and wider-Microsoft 365 suite) and eager to use new digital tools and systems
Keen attention to detail and proofing ability
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for liaising with team members, partners, and customers
Basic marketing knowledge, including an understanding of principles, strategies, and trends
Experience or eagerness to learn our ticketing software (Spektrix), our Project Management software (Monday.com), email marketing, website CMS and reporting tools.
Desirable:
Initiative to identify and resolve problems independently
Able to anticipate team needs and act proactively
Strong team player, able to collaborate effectively to achieve common goals
Familiarity with budget management
