You're a creative and innovative leader who leads by example.As the Executive Chef at Prospera Place, you play a critical role in our guest's experience, providing oversight and leadership tothe venue's kitchen operations.You leverage your strong organizational and communication skillstohire, coach and train the kitchen teamswhile continuouslyidentifyingwaystoserve upimprovements to ourfood serviceoperations.

Driven by a desire toinspire and motivate, you confidently deal with ambiguity, ensuring that ourkitchens and food preparation areas are operating with the highest levels of quality and safety, our relationships with suppliers are successful and the food ordering is impeccable. As a creative chef, you excel at experimenting and creating exciting culinary creations and conducting menu tastings. You're the 'full meal deal'

To qualify for this fantastic opportunity, youhave your cooks trade qualified certificate with Interprovincial Red Seal or equivalent, possess excellent working knowledge of kitchen policies and procedures and have your current Food Safe Level 2 certification. Ideally, you have at least 3 years experience as a Sous Chef or higher.For bonus points, you have experience in high volume kitchens that are feeding large events like we host at Prospera Place.
