About the Opportunity

Our client, a leading General Contracting firm in Canada, is seeking a Senior Commercial Manager to oversee the commercial function for the Ontario Business Unit. Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will provide contractual, financial, and risk management support to pre-construction and project teams, as well as commercial assistance to senior operations management.

Duties include:

  1. Reviewing RFQ / RFP or bid / tender documentation
  2. Conducting Prime Contract reviews
  3. Ensuring compliance of submissions
  4. Assisting in the preparation of various agreements
  5. Liaising with Risk on security and insurance

About You

The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant field, 10+ years of construction and/or commercial management experience, advanced knowledge of construction contract administration, strong negotiation skills, and a thorough understanding of contract law.
