This is a casual position, covering time off for full time staff. You would cover a variety of shifts that operate in the following times, 7 days a week:

8am-4:45pm,

4:00pm-12:45am,

and 12am-8:45am. May be additional hours available that fall outside of above shift times.

You must be willing to work at least 1 "overnight" (midnight to 8:45am) shift per month and willing to work at least 4 shifts per month, in order to be considered for an interview.

We are hiring for our Casual Youth Support Worker position at Sunrise House

Wage: $20.66 - $23/hr Wage is based on a scale determined by education and experience.

As a Casual Youth Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to be the first point of contact for youth in our community who are at risk of becoming, or are experiencing homelessness. Youth Support Workers are expected to be non-judgmental, compassionate, and work well under pressure. Preference will be given to applicants who have: Education (Diploma or Degree in human services/Social Work field), and/or experience working with youth, vulnerable populations, addictions, and/or mental health.
