Looking for a childcare centre supervisor with a minimum 2* years* of experience as a Childcare centre supervisor.

The duties expected will be:

-‐‑ Ensure the ongoing safety and well-‐‑being of all children and staff-‐‑ Monitor staff and ensure child : teacher ratio is always maintained-‐‑ Respond to all parent questions, comments, and concerns in a timely and professional manner-‐‑ Organize and conduct monthly staff meetings and P.A days-‐‑ Provide oversight and mentoring regarding policies, procedures, and goals-‐‑ Maintain all records as required by both the Ministry of Education and Public Health-‐‑ Represent the service during Ministry of Education and Public Health visits or audits-‐‑ Development of policies and procedures under the CCEYA and Human Resources-‐‑ Updating CCLS when required (entering new staff, submitting for a Serious Occurrence, responding to program advisor requests etc).-‐‑ Monitors, reviews, and approves all written work of the staff-‐‑ Evaluate employee performance and provide both written and verbal feedback on an ongoing basis-‐‑ Hire and train new staff-‐‑ Conduct monthly fire drills and other necessary emergency situations (Code Red, Tornado)-‐‑ Prepare staff schedules and approving staff time cards using ADP-‐‑ Responsible for collecting and documenting monthly student tuition payments-‐‑ Planning and attending all field trips and summer camp programming-‐‑ Co-‐‑ordinate extra-‐‑curricular activities for the children-‐‑ Responding to e-‐‑mails and answering the phone-‐‑ Conduct school tours and registrations-‐‑ Track and project student enrollment-‐‑ Worked with Simcoe Early Intervention Services as well as Child Care Fee Subsidy-‐‑ Complete ERIK Assessments and Nipissing Screens where and when necessary

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $28.00 per hour

Schedule:
