As a Marketing Specialist, responsibilities include working collaboratively with the rest of the marketing team on the marketing strategy and upcoming content production and helping execute social media posts across our platforms.

Skills:

  • Experience in digital marketing, with a solid understanding of best practices and strategies.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, volunteer-driven environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a remote team.
  • Experience with operations related to a registered charity is considered an asset.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience with Google Drive, Docs, and Sheets.
  • Genuine interest in our mission.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and implementation of digital marketing campaigns to increase awareness and drive donations.
  • Manage and execute email marketing initiatives, crafting compelling messages that engage and motivate our community.
  • Create content pieces (posts, stories, videos, and social copies) for Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn using Canva and AI tools for copywriting.
  • Participate in monthly meetings to strategize the content calendar.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Team and other HUT Teams.
  • Represent HUT in a professional manner that aligns with HUT’s vision of dignity and respect.
  • Attend events and meetings hosted by HUT or in collaboration with HUT.

Time Commitment: 2-4 hours/week
