Director of Regional Business Development – Toronto

Job Objective

The Director of Regional Business Development – Toronto plays a pivotal role in orchestrating HELI Canada's business strategy within the Toronto region and across Ontario. This strategic role focuses on establishing, asserting, and enhancing the company’s market presence as a leading force. The initial measure of success will be securing business deals and establishing partnerships with key rental centers, national accounts, and dealerships. Following this, the Director will be instrumental in assembling a high-performing sales team and developing a robust business development strategy. The ultimate strategic objective is to reinforce and broaden HELI Canada's position as a key market player.

Main responsibilities

  1. Identify, assess, and close new business deals with rental centers, national accounts, and dealerships.
  2. Develop and implement a regional growth strategy aligned with the company's overall objectives.
  3. Set and monitor sales goals as well as key performance indicators (KPIs).
  4. Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional programs.
  5. Maintain strong relationships with key clients and strategic partners.
  6. Recruit, organize, manage, and develop an effective sales team.
  7. Establish and oversee the sales budget.
  8. Provide regular reports to management on sales performance.

Desired Profile

Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. A minimum of 10 years of experience in sales management, ideally in the industrial vehicles sector or similar fields. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Strong leadership and team management skills. Advanced competency in data analysis and mastery of CRM tools. Ability to work in a dynamic environment. Fluent in spoken and written English; bilingualism (French and English) would be an asset.
