Tasks:
  1. Plan, develop, implement and evaluate human resources policies and programs
  2. Advise managers and employees on the interpretation of human resources policies, benefit programs and collective agreements
  3. Establish and implement policies and procedures
  4. Administer benefit employment equity and other human resources programs
  5. Co-ordinate employee performance and appraisal programs
  6. Manage training and development strategies
  7. Respond to employee questions and complaints
  8. Recruit and hire staff
  9. Conduct performance reviews
  10. Support for newcomers and refugees
  11. Recruits newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster (for example: Ukraine, Afghanistan, etc.)
  12. Support for Indigenous people
  13. Develops and maintains relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses and organizations
  14. Supports for visible minorities
  15. Applies hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities (for example: anonymizing the hiring process, etc.)
