isure insurance inc. is hiring a Commercial Account Manager to join our highly successful and growing Small Business team. The candidate will be responsible for servicing and growing the assigned book of small business accounts. This position will contribute to our continued growth for Commercial Lines; the candidate must have strong customer service skills, be goal-oriented, and have a solid understanding of various insurance companies and their underwriting rules.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Quote and bind isure referrals and leads
  • Service and grow the assigned book of small business accounts
  • Be a strategic insurance resource in helping clients grow their business
  • Qualify prospects by obtaining all underwriting information, including reviewing exposures and loss experience to determine risk qualifications and requirements
  • Work with insurer portals to obtain quotes
  • Prepare Risk Marketing submissions where required
  • Prepare and present prospect proposals
  • Manage isure’s new client onboarding process
  • Deliver exemplary client experience in isure key deliverables
  • Review and approve client coverage including new business, endorsements, and renewals
  • Advocate on behalf of our clients in all underwriting and claims negotiations
  • Adhere to isure E&O and risk management protocols
  • Pursue continuous learning in technical and interpersonal skills
  • Live the “ROCKiT” Values of isure
  • Adhere to the highest level of ethics and professional standards within the insurance industry
  • Work effectively with the isure team
Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • 2 years insurance customer service or personal lines experience
  • Previous sales experience is an asset
  • RIBO Licensed
  • Working toward professional designations is an asset (CAIB, CIP, CRM or equivalent)
