As an HR Generalist your key responsibilities will include:
  1. Administer policies, procedures and programs as well as promoting positive employee relations.
  2. Recruitment, candidate screening & assessments selecting the most qualified candidates.
  3. Develop and maintain network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates.
  4. Plan and deliver employee engagement programs or events.
  5. Assist in learning administration including course selection and annual learning plan development.
  6. Consult on performance management ensuring proper documentation and handling termination employment matters.
  7. Employee disability and worker’s compensation claims management.
  8. Maintain confidential, accurate, and up to date employee files and HRIS data.
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate possesses:

  1. Post-secondary education in Human Resources Management (undergraduate degree with concentration in HR or undergraduate degree with post grad HR specialization).
  2. Experience in Human Resources and/or a CHRP designation would be considered an asset.
  3. Strong decision-making skills.
  4. Excellent judgment and problem-solving skills.
  5. Strong attention to detail while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.
  6. Excellent communication skills.
  7. Ability to multitask and handle stressful situations in a fast-paced, diverse environment.
  8. Proficiency in MS Office software.
