About the Role
The Director of Human Resources will play a key role in shaping the organizational culture, vision, values, and strategy of Tim Hortons Foundation Camps. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing strategic and operational plans to achieve key performance targets through the establishment of enhanced HR practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and implement HR practices to support operational functions and a galvanized Foundation team
- Develop and execute strategic and operational plans to achieve key performance targets
- Support the development of a strong culture that models excellence in everything the organization does
- Collaborate with staff to shape, communicate, and implement the Foundation's organizational culture, vision, values, and strategy
- Manage health and safety, performance management, talent management, training and development, compensation, benefits, recruitment and selection, organizational effectiveness and development, change management, employee relations, talent acquisition, compensation planning and administration, and payroll
Requirements
- Progressive and senior HR generalist experience, preferably gained in a non-profit organization
- Strong HR generalist skills, including project management, collaboration, and problem-solving
- Results-oriented and able to balance strategic responsibilities with day-to-day tactical responsibilities
- University/College degree in Human Resources or equivalent, combined with a CHRL or CHRE
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Bilingual French/English skills are an asset
