Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Mid-level Technical Support Specialist at Longhurst Consulting. The Technical Support Specialist will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Some work will be done on-site at various client locations throughout Central Alberta and in our Red Deer, AB, office, with the flexibility to work remotely when practical.

Qualifications

  • Technical Support and Troubleshooting skills
  • Analytical Skills and Customer Support experience
  • Ability to ensure high Customer Satisfaction
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Experience with IT support systems and tools
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Team player with the ability to work independently
  • Relevant certifications in IT or related fields
  • Strong knowledge of MS 365 an asset
  • Basic AD skills such as account creation and GPOs
  • Experience installing and configuring MS Operating systems and troubleshooting same
  • Ability to configure firewalls/switches/VPNs an asset
  • Hyper-V experience also a great asset
