The role:

Sectra is embarking on a journey to lead PACS replacement projects across Canada. We aim to revolutionize healthcare imaging solutions across regions and provinces, leveraging Sectra's cutting-edge technology and expertise to enhance patient care and streamline medical workflows. As an Applications Specialist your role involves conducting thorough workflow analysis, planning and delivering training sessions, providing on-site support during deployment, and ensuring seamless integration of Sectra's products into customer workflows.


Responsibilities include:

  1. Go through hands-on structured training program on applications, solutions and services including PACS for Radiology, Mammography, Cardiology, Digital Pathology, Vendor Neutral Archive, Orthopedic templating, medical imaging AI algorithms and more.
  2. Perform PACS workflow analysis to understand each customer’s unique needs and intricacies.
  3. Plan and schedule training activities for customers during the deployment project.
  4. Provide workflow support to the customer during acceptance testing.
  5. Organize and provide appropriate go-live application support on site at customer location.
  6. Provide training in one-on-one and classroom settings on site, as well as web-based training.
  7. Provide remote support for application in collaboration with our customer support team.
  8. Provide positive, professional and cohesive company image when representing Sectra and our products.
  9. Ensure Sectra's customers have the required knowledge to efficiently use our products.
  10. Handle applications related support tickets.
  11. Act as an internal champion for the Sectra application to mentor customers and peers.
  12. Travel (25%- 30%).
  13. Uphold Sectra's esteemed reputation as the industry leader, consistently recognized as 'Best in KLAS' for #1 customer satisfaction.

Skills & Requirements

  1. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral in French and English.
  2. A master’s, bachelor’s or equivalent degree with a strong academic performance.
  3. Prior Clinical Application Specialist and/or Radiology Technologist experience.
  4. Demonstrate a passion and commitment toward exceeding our customer’s expectations.
  5. Ability to teach and explain complex topics effectively.
  6. Patient, caring, and inspiring approach.
  7. Creative thinking and calmness in stressful situations.
  8. Interest in creating training material.
