Description and RequirementsAs the ISO ISG WW Sales - Chief of Staff, you will work closely with the SVP of ISO ISG WW Sales and be responsible for a wide variety of tasks and actions that will enable our leadership to drive the business forward effectively and quickly. From research and data analysis to the preparation of reports and recommendations, you will manage the coordination between departments and outside parties, building and leading our business management system.
You will directly impact our management team’s effectiveness by contributing to strategy formation and implementation, business insights and analytics combined with key stakeholder management, and enabling the executive team to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
This is not an administrative role - it is a highly strategic and facilitative position that requires a combination of focus and flexibility, as well as a willingness to play an active, operational, and communicative role. As the leader’s ‘trusted counsel', the role requires exceptional emotional intelligence, self-motivation, alongside strong analytical and interpersonal skills. This position will have focused customer orientation, thinking about customers’ priorities, the value we can deliver, and determining trade-offs that ultimately differentiate us from the competition in the eyes of the customer.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate and manage the process of identifying, prioritizing, chartering, communicating, and managing key projects, and also defining what success looks like for each of these projects.
- Establish and maintain a business management system, including the management of staff agendas and meetings.
- Track key strategic actions, drive them to closure, and manage the process of tracking and communicating performance against objectives; continuously assess how we are executing to our strategic plan and offer recommendations for improvement.
- Serve as the key interface for external groups (i.e., customers and partners) as well as internal business groups.
- Work with Finance and Operations to clearly understand the P&L, collaborate with the extended ISG and ISO leadership team to operationalize plans to achieve the financial targets.
- Support the SVP in their day-to-day activities (presentations to customers, executives, and other external audiences, preparation for critical meetings and business reviews).
Basic Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in a fast-paced Sales environment.

- Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize large amounts of information, drawing conclusions from multiple sources.
- Ability to simplify and explain complex problems to stakeholders of all levels across multiple functions, along with a willingness to challenge when necessary.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-energy culture and consistently maintain the highest level of integrity and an unwavering sense of what is best for the business.
- Keen emotional intelligence, flexible work style, and excellent diplomatic skills across all levels of the organization.
- Strong understanding of varying Lenovo Business Groups (ISG, IDG, SSG) with an ability to navigate Lenovo while building great work relationships through collaboration, spanning product, sales, marketing, finance, etc.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Leadership skills with the ability to inspire others to achieve a common objective.
- Keen business acumen - understand our strategy and govern the strategic planning.
- Superior organizational skills and project/time management abilities, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities at the same time.
