The Opportunity
We’re searching for an Immersive Experience Designer & Script Curator who can merge theatrical flair with community-focused travel. You’ll be building narrative “blueprints” that transform local tours into genuine cultural performances, all while ensuring travelers positively impact the places they explore. Whether it’s a twilight street-art safari in NYC, a mystical waterfall hike in Bali, or a historical reenactment in Niagara Falls, you’ll craft the storyline so hosts can deliver something truly unforgettable.

Role Summary
1.Creative Blueprinting
•Write scripted outlines for immersive tours or activities—multisensory engagement, comedic/dramatic beats, reflection moments.
•Collaborate with local hosts to adapt each script to their culture and environment, ensuring authentic experiences.
2.Host Collaboration & Coaching
•Develop playbooks, tutorial videos, or LMS modules that teach hosts to effectively “perform” the experience, from the opening monologue to closing reflections.
•Provide real-time feedback to keep each experience thematically consistent and culturally respectful.
3.Quality Control & Iteration
•Track NPS, traveler reviews, and social shares to evaluate each experience’s impact.
•Continuously refine the design, ensuring experiences remain fresh, dynamic, and beneficial to local communities.
4.Process & Toolkit Building
•Create scalable frameworks to quickly launch new experiences—arcs, pacing, comedic vs. educational elements—so expansions in new destinations maintain consistent quality.
5.Future Growth & Impact
•As you succeed, help onboard additional designers, codify best practices, and shape the broader Tripshepherd experience library.
•Advocate for responsible, impactful tourism practices in everything you create, ensuring that travelers engage deeply with local cultures rather than just “consume” them.
