As the company continues to grow, they are seeking a highly experienced hands-on Human Resources Manager to join their dynamic HR team. This individual will partner closely with members of the HR and leadership teams to help shape and execute the company’s people and culture strategies—playing a key role in helping to attain the company’s business goals and objectives.


Position Overview:


The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for leading a variety of HR functions and driving strategic initiatives across the organization. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone who excels in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable making critical decisions, and has a passion for working with technology to enhance HR processes. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership to ensure HR strategies are fully aligned with business goals and contribute to the company’s overall growth.


Key Responsibilities:


  • HR Leadership: Collaborate with the leadership to develop and execute human resources strategies that support organizational objectives. Provide expert guidance on talent management, organizational design, and workforce planning.
  • Business Partnership: Serve as a trusted HR partner to the business delivering insights, recommendations and executing on a wide range of HR topics including, performance management, learning and development, reward and regulatory and compliance.
  • Talent Acquisition & Development: Lead/oversee the end-to-end talent attraction process, including recruitment, onboarding, employee development, and succession planning, ensuring the organization attracts and retains top talent.
  • Operational Management: Oversee daily HR operations, including compensation, benefits, compliance, and employee relations, ensuring operational efficiency and alignment with organizational needs.
  • Employee Engagement & Culture: Foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture by leading initiatives focused on employee engagement, diversity, equity, inclusion, and well-being.
  • Change Management: Lead HR efforts during organizational changes such as restructures, mergers, and acquisitions, ensuring smooth transitions and maintaining strong internal communications.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure the company remains compliant with all relevant labor laws and regulations, proactively managing risks and addressing employee relations matters.


Qualifications:


  • Experience: 7+ years of HR management experience, with a strong track record in the financial services or insurance industry.
  • Executive-Level Collaboration: Demonstrated experience working with leadership/C-suite executives, providing strategic HR insights and supporting high-level decision-making.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with HRIS systems, payroll software, and other HR technologies. Ability to use data to drive HR strategies and decision-making.
  • Leadership & Communication: Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Hands-On Approach: A proactive leader with the ability to manage both strategic initiatives and day-to-day HR operations.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to implement effective, practical solutions.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CHRP, CHRL) are highly desirable.
