Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of annual reports, consent resolutions and annual maintenance accounts for BC corporations and Federal Annual Maintenance;
  • Maintain the Annual Maintenance Bring Forward System;
  • Attend to the filing of annual reports and other routine registry filings;
  • Incorporations and working with/preparing constating materials;
  • Analysis of corporate structures, rights and limitations in relation preparing materials for dividends and accountant driven corporate instructions and restructuring;
  • Working with commercial departments on supporting transaction related materials;
  • Attend to scanning and updating Virtual and actual minute books; and
  • Other administrative support as required.

Education and Qualifications

  • Ideally, we are looking for 1 year of experience working in a similar position.
  • Good knowledge of filings, governance, and working with accountants with organizational documents.
  • Detail-orientated, highly organized, ability to deal effectively with deadlines, and work well under pressure.
  • Positive and willing attitude.
  • Excellent team player
  • Self-motivated with the ability to perform under minimal direction, and work independently while enjoying being part of a team.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Keyboarding of 50 wpm.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and ALF.
  • Salary range is $42k - $45k, however; salary will be commensurate with experience
