Reporting to the Director of ElevateIP, the Program Coordinator is crucial in managing the program’s day-to-day operations, ensuring the smooth execution of activities, and providing exceptional support to our participants. We are looking for a proactive problem-solver with a passion for innovation and a strong understanding of intellectual property to fill this critical position. As a dynamic and detail-oriented Program Coordinator, you will be a key player in our ElevateIP team.

About ElevateIP Program: ElevateIP is not just a program; it’s a pioneering initiative that fosters innovation and intellectual property (IP) development. Its mission is to support startups, inventors, and small businesses in protecting and commercializing their IP. It offers unique resources, mentorship, and access to a network of industry experts, providing its participants with a privileged and valued experience to help them thrive in a competitive landscape.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Coordination:
  • Assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of program activities.
  • Coordinate and schedule workshops, webinars, mentorship sessions, and other program events.
  • Handle event logistics, including venue arrangements, catering, and technical support.
  • Maintain and update program schedules, calendars, and participant databases.
  • Prepare and distribute program materials, including handbooks, guides, and promotional content.
  • Manage program documentation, including contracts, agreements, and reports.
  • Participant Support:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for program participants, addressing inquiries and providing guidance.
  • Facilitate communication between participants and mentors, ensuring timely and practical
  • support.
  • Track participant progress and provide regular updates to the Program Director.
  • Communication and Outreach:
  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing and outreach strategies to attract new
  • participants.
  • Collaborate with the communications team to create content for newsletters, social media,
  • and the program website.
  • Represent ElevateIP at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
  • Data and Reporting:
  • Collect and analyze program data to measure outcomes and impact.
  • Prepare regular reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify areas for improvement and recommend program enhancements.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree is required, preferably in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in program coordination, project management, or a similar role.
  • Knowledge of intellectual property concepts and the innovation ecosystem is highly desirable.
  • Working with startups and experience in the entrepreneurship field is considered an asset.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills and ability to work on tight deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
  • Proficiency in HubSpot and other CRM platforms is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Must be able to work in a multi-task, fast-paced environment that may also entail potential early morning, evening, and weekend work.
