The District Sales Manager’s goal is to support the objectives of the Sales Department by providing leadership, guidance, coaching, and support to HINO dealers in the Quebec and Atlantic provinces. The incumbent will assist dealers with truck sales activities, develop new sales opportunities and provide general support to the dealer network.


JOB FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, schedule, and conduct regular in person dealer visits & maintain regular telephone contact with dealers to gain accurate understanding of current sales activities.
  • Coordinate truck sales with sales programs, implement policies and strengthen brand image within the dealer network.
  • Establish an effective support role with dealer management regarding performance objectives, market development, sales programs and events.
  • Communicate with the dealer network regarding truck sales activities, inventory/order planning and wholesale of trucks to dealers.
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting, including dealer visit reports and sales activity reports regarding quoted/contracted deals, orders placed, and delivery schedules.
  • Identify product requirements and sales opportunities within the assigned market area.
  • Assist with training dealer team members in products, systems, and processes.
  • Attend customer visits with dealer sales team members to provide required support and assistance to close truck sale opportunities.
  • Provide feedback and coaching on performance management of dealers while addressing and documenting noncompliant items.
  • Achieve targets outlined by Hino Motors Canada, Ltd.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Languages: French & English required
  • Minimum of three years account management experience and/or sales management experience within the commercial truck or related industry
  • Ability to identify customer needs and provide good customer service
  • Ability to exercise initiative, good judgement and discretion in all matters
  • Strong PC Skills; Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams
  • Class 5 license required, Class 3 license an asset
  • Frequent travel required, must have reliable vehicle
  • Candidate must reside in Quebec

Le but du directeur commercial de district est de soutenir les objectifs du service des ventes en offrant un leadership, des conseils, un encadrement et un soutien aux concessionnaires HINO au Québec et dans les provinces de l’Atlantique. Le titulaire du poste assistera les concessionnaires dans leurs activités de vente de camions, recherchera de nouvelles possibilités de vente et fournira un soutien général au réseau de concessionnaires.


FONCTIONS / RESPONSABILITÉS

  • Planifier, programmer et effectuer des visites régulières chez les concessionnaires et maintenir un contact téléphonique avec ces derniers pour bien comprendre les activités de vente actuelles.
  • Coordonner les ventes de camions à l’aide de programmes de vente, mettre en œuvre des politiques et renforcer l’image de marque au sein du réseau de concessionnaires.
  • Assurer un rôle de soutien efficace auprès de la direction des concessionnaires en ce qui concerne les objectifs de rendement, le développement du marché, les programmes de vente et les événements.
  • Communiquer avec le réseau de concessionnaires en ce qui concerne les activités de vente de camions, la planification de l'inventaire et des commandes et la vente en gros de camions aux concessionnaires.
  • Fournir des rapports précis et en temps opportun, y compris des rapports de visite de concessionnaires et des rapports de ventes concernant les offres/contrats, les commandes passées et les calendriers de livraison.
  • Cerner les besoins en produits et les possibilités de vente dans la zone de marché attribuée.
  • Participer à la formation des membres de l'équipe du concessionnaire sur les produits, les systèmes et les processus.
  • Assister aux visites des clients avec les membres de l'équipe de vente des concessionnaires afin de fournir le soutien et l'assistance nécessaires pour conclure des ventes de camions.
  • Fournir une rétroaction et un encadrement sur la gestion du rendement des concessionnaires tout en abordant et en documentant les éléments non conformes.
  • Atteindre les objectifs définis par Hino Motors Canada, Ltd.

 

EXIGENCES

  • Langues : Français et anglais – requis.
  • Au moins trois ans d’expérience en gestion des comptes et/ou en gestion des ventes dans l’industrie des camions commerciaux ou une industrie connexe.
  • Capacité à déterminer les besoins des clients et à fournir un bon service à la clientèle.
  • Capacité à faire preuve d'initiative, de jugement et de discrétion dans tous les domaines.
  • Solides compétences en informatique : Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Teams.
  • Permis de classe 5 ou équivalent exigé, permis de classe 3 ou équivalent provincial un atout.
  • Des déplacements fréquents sont nécessaires; véhicule fiable requis.
  • Le candidat doit résider au Québec.
