We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Alumni Engagement Manager. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our alumni and contribute to the success of the Faculty of Applied Science at UBC.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic plans to engage alumni and build relationships with key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with faculty members and staff to integrate and promote alumni participation in existing and expanding volunteer opportunities.
- Participate in the development and implementation of a comprehensive plan for identifying, cultivating, engaging, and stewarding high-level student and alumni leaders.
- Work closely with the Senior Director of Development & Alumni Engagement and Senior Director, Alumni UBC to ensure strategic identification, cultivation, and stewardship of relationships with key alumni leaders.
- Develop and maintain external relationships that contribute to strategic alumni relationship management.
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in alumni relations, strategic planning, and community engagement. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, developing and implementing successful engagement strategies, and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people. They will also have a strong understanding of the principles of alumni relations and the ability to apply them in a strategic and effective manner.
