Job Summary

RBC Dominion Securities is a leading wealth management firm that values collaboration and innovation. We are seeking a resourceful and efficient Associate to join our team in North York.

Job Description

The successful candidate will provide exceptional service and support to our clients and Advisor team, helping to deepen existing relationships and welcome new clients to the firm. Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining existing client accounts and identifying opportunities to contact clients
  • Responding to client inquiries in a timely and understanding manner
  • Providing proactive client service and resolving issues efficiently
  • Managing incoming communications from clients, Advisors, and other internal and external partners
  • Assisting the Advisor team in welcoming and onboarding new clients
  • Building relationships and trust with clients through the utilization of appropriate tools and technologies
  • Reviewing day-to-day execution to ensure quality and efficiency
  • Preparing Portfolio Managers for meetings with high net worth clients
  • Assisting clients with account documentation
  • Becoming well-versed in internal controls and industry regulatory requirements
  • Supporting the Advisor team and client through the wealth management process

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of experience in wealth management servicing high net worth clients
  • Completion of the Canadian Securities course (CSC) and the Conduct and Practices Handbook course (CPH)
  • Awareness of compliance rules, banking laws, and standard regulations
  • Current IR license with CIRO
  • Ability to introduce products and services to high net worth clients
  • Ability to multitask and remain organized
  • Exceptional attention to detail and excellent communication skills

Nice-to-Have

Knowledge of RBC Dominion Securities' systems and procedures, as well as experience in the securities industry, are assets.
