**Site Director Position**

A Site Director is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day security operations at a large retail complex in downtown Toronto, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining a safe and secure environment.

**Job Description**

**Position:** Site Director
**Location:** Downtown Toronto, ON
**Type:** Full-Time Days
**Hours:** Monday to Friday
**Pay Rate:** $24.97

**Responsibilities:**

* Develop coaching skills and drive engagement among security staff
* Conduct monthly meetings with Lead Hands to discuss performance and goals
* Collaborate with the Manager to implement new technologies and improve service efficiency
* Ensure property team identifies and executes action items to close compliance gaps and eliminate recurring deficiencies
* Supervise all aspects of security operations, including monitoring staff performance and handling sensitive situations
* Maintain currency of knowledge in security systems, equipment, and techniques
* Investigate tenant complaints, thefts, and suspicious activities promptly
* Mediate internal staff conflicts and provide evaluations and recommendations
* Liaise with tenants to resolve issues and concerns

**Requirements & Qualifications:**

* Valid Ontario Security Guard License
* Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level - C certification
* Covid-19 - Fully Vaccinated (Min 2 doses)
* Minimum 2+ years of experience working in Security or equivalent
* Basic computer skills
* Knowledge of applicable federal, provincial, and municipal legislation and regulations
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and decision-making skills
* Ability to work in a challenging, fast-paced environment
* Prior work experience in a customer service environment
* Previous experience working as a security guard
